☕ Coffee Tour from Medellín — A Full Day on an Antioquian Coffee Farm

Colombia is the world's largest producer of washed mild arabica, and Antioquia is the country's second-biggest coffee department. That means you don't have to cross half of Colombia to reach the coffee: the farms sit a short ride from Medellín, on slopes where altitude, shade and hand-picking — bean by bean, only the ripe cherries — explain why Colombian coffee is drunk all over the world. This is not a tour you watch. At the farm they lend you the traditional outfit — poncho, hat and the basket tied at your waist — and you walk the whole process, from seed to cup: into the coffee grove to pick ripe cherries with your own hands, then the pulping machine, the drying beds, and finally a tasting of the coffee those same slopes produce. Along the way: a traditional Antioquian lunch served as *fiambre*, a snack, a local dessert and a keepsake to take home. A full day, with return transport from Medellín, a guide throughout and medical assistance cover. Departures: every day at 8:30 a.m. Back in Medellín between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.
