The Express is for two kinds of traveler: the one who's short on time and wants to get a feel for Medellín in about 90 minutes, and the one who already knows the city and wants to see it differently. Instead of repeating the usual stops, this tour takes you through "back-way" corners the standard tours skip, on an e-bike that does the work for you. It's 100% private and at your own pace.

Why an e-bike, not walking or a car

The bike is pedal-assisted — you barely pedal. You climb the hills without sweating and cover in two hours what would take all day on foot or slip past behind a car window.

Why private

Just you, your group and your guide. The route bends to what interests you, with the stops and pace you want.

The route

We ride through the Stadium, Laureles, La Bolivariana, Conquistadores and Parques del Río — seen from a different angle than the usual tours — plus several more spots, all brisk. It's the fastest way to feel the city, and a fresh look even if you already know it.

What's included

  • Pedal-assisted e-bike and helmet
  • Private local guide
  • Complimentary drink (water, Coca-Cola, espresso coffee or slushie, subject to availability)
  • 100% private ride (just your group)
  • Departure from our office in Laureles–Estadio (Calle 44A #70-79)
  • No lunch included (this is the short tour)

Perfect for

Short on time, a first afternoon in the city, or travelers who already know Medellín and want a different angle.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be good on a bike?

No. It's electric and pedal-assisted — you barely pedal. If you can balance, you're fine; we do a short practice first.

How long is it?

1.5 to 2 hours, almost all on the bike; you only step off at stops.

Worth it if I already know Medellín?

Yes — it's built for that, taking you through corners and angles the usual tours skip.

Does it include lunch?

No, it's the short tour. It does include a complimentary drink. For lunch, see the Urban or Alternative tour.

Where do we start?

From our office in Laureles (Calle 44A #70-79).

How is it different from the Complete tour?

The Express is a quick, different taste; the Complete adds Comuna 13, the market and lunch, over 7 hours.
