Yes. About 95% of the route runs on well-kept bike paths, and Medellín has a road culture that respects cyclists — cars usually give way to bikes. The neighborhoods we ride through are safe areas of the city with a constant police presence, and most crossings have traffic lights. You also have a helmet available and a local guide with you at all times who knows every street.
If it rains, the tour becomes a different experience — and often a better one. Think of it this way: if you only have a few days in Medellín and it rains, you will get rained on anyway, walking or waiting at your hotel; the difference is how you live it. We give every traveler a waterproof rain poncho, so you keep riding, exploring and enjoying while others wait for the rain to stop. A local tip: it almost never rains all day in Medellín — usually a heavy shower falls and then it clears. And since our tours are 100% private, if a downpour hits we can stop at a café for a coffee or a beer while it passes, or simply adjust the start time. Your trip to Medellín is not lost to the rain — it is just lived differently.
Of course. Small children ride on the same bike as their responsible adult (front or back) and do not pay for a seat — only the restaurant cost on tours that include a meal. Since every case is different (age, size, bike weight), message us on WhatsApp and we will sort out the details so the whole family rides comfortably and safely.
Changing is free, always. From My booking you can change the date or time at any moment at no cost — even last minute. If you would rather not pay in advance, book without payment and pay on the day of the tour: zero risk. And if you paid and need to cancel, you get a 100% refund when cancelling more than 24 hours ahead; for last-minute cancellations we only deduct the small fee the payment provider charges us. Refunds are processed immediately and arrive as fast as your bank allows. And for anything at all — changing, cancelling or questions — you can also write to us on WhatsApp and we will handle it with you directly.
